Slap Switches

I use the word 'boisterous' a lot when describing the Explode the Controller project, because connecting active physical play with Scratch makes a certain kind of racket when done successfully. In addition to laughing and yelling, excited players also forget to hang on to grounded wires or to be gentle with delicate switch connections.

Slap Switches are simple resistance touch switches, designed to survive a whallop from the players running and jumping to reach them. They are cheap and easy to make, and can be assembled without soldering.
